About Us...
Pickwick Pines Resort is a new enterprise founded in late 2001 by David McMeans. The resort is located on Highway 350, two miles west of Highway 25 North. Pickwick Pines Resort is situated on 160 acres atop Mississippi's second highest point in the state. An additional 340 acres is available for future expansion. The land has been in the McMeans family for over 100 years.
The resort provides extraordinary amenities and activities for residents and will be maintained in a pristine condition to insure future success. David McMeans (owner, President) has spent several years preplanning and developing this incredible concept. He has personally designed each home as well as the amenities within the resort. The concept behind this endeavor is to provide lifestyle immeasurable by any other. Pickwick Pines Resort offers a 7,500 sq ft resort lodge, swimming pools, double-lighted tennis courts, nature trails and much more. Also provided is boat, ATV and mini storage units for a minimal fee to all homeowners.
Pickwick Pines Resort opened a 14,000 sq ft family activities center in 2006 that features full-body workout gym, tanning beds, auditorium, conference rooms and more. The concept is to offer adults and retirees a more relaxing environment with the availability of planned activities for families, children and grandchildren.
Pickwick Pines Resort provides first quality vinyl clad homes that are specifically designed to be as maintenance free as possible. Homes range in size from 600 to 3,000 sq ft.
Currently eight phases of the development are opened for construction of homes. Homebuyers select lots and a down-payment is made to secure the lot and current home price.
An annual site membership and maintenance fee apply to all homeowners to provide the security, amenities and maintenance of all homeowners grounds as well as common areas of the resort.
