Pickwick Lake, one of the South’s premier resort destinations, is located on the beautiful Tennessee River where the Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi state lines meet the Tombigbee Waterway.
Golf at Pickwick
The Pickwick Landing State Park Golf Course is located close to the border of Mississippi and Alabama within the proximity of Pickwick Dam. The course was opened in May 1973 and is a favorite of the locals as well as destination golfers. Every hole is tree-lined. Out of bounds guards 11 holes and there are a total of 21 bunkers found throughout the course.
The Activity Center boasts 14,000 sq ft and features Exercise Room, Tanning Beds, Auditorium, Conference Rooms, and Card & Craft Room. Other amenities coming soon. The Activity Center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.Come worship at the Activity Center each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. Contact us at 662-424-9940 for questions concerning scheduled events and activities.
Adjacent to the Resort Lodge is a beautiful 20X40 swimming pool. A covered veranda with ceiling fans provides a nice place to relax. There is also live entertainment some weekends during the summer.
